UEFS Ltd believes that Health & Safety is a vital component on the business - A good Health & Safety record goes hand in hand with high productivity and quality standards.
We believe that prevention is not only better, but cheaper that cure. Profits and safety are not in competition - on the contrary, good Health & Safety is good business.
From a legal perspective, the company is committed to ensuring that it complies with all relevant Health & Safety legislation. where it is reasonably practicable to do so, the company will strive to go beyond the requirements of legislation.
The company is committed to ongoing monitoring and review process, so that continual improvement in the management of Health & Safety can be achieved.
Environment
We conduct and monitor operations using the Best Practicable Means to protect the environment from impairment.
The concepts of Best Practicable Environmental option (BPEO) and duty of care has been implemented to establish high standards of operation in all our activity's.
We take into account our local community, with due regard for public participation and have a regular process of communication where appropriate.
Meeting the environmental requirements is the principle objective of our procedures in relation to the operations of the company. This is achieved by good planning, the provision of adequate resources, properly trained and experienced personnel, clearly defined standards and methods of working and correct monitoring and checking.
We respect and maintain the local environment for local inhabitants and wildlife.
